Verbos Present Progressive (Verbs)

Present Progressive - Presente progresivo

Present Progressive is an action that describes action that are happening at the moment you are speaking.

Estar + Verb + remove last 2 letters and suffix  ando for AR verbs or iendo for ER/IR verbs

Example: Hablar > Hablando, Cantar > Cantando

              Comer > Comiendo, Escribir > Escribiendo

              Yo hablo > Yo Estoy hablando.

        Stem change:

              Yo duermo > Yo estoy durmiendo (stem changing rules apply)

              r:ie: preferir = prefiriendo, sentir = sintiendo

              e:i: conseguir = consiguiendo, pedir = pidiendo, seguir = siguiendo

              o:ue: dormir = durmiendo
